Welcome! NIMF is a nationwide network for women in mathematics, physics, computer science, and related fields like astronomy, electrotechnics, geology, chemical technology, etc. NIMF is an informal network with over 100 members, and was founded in 1987. We have representatives from all walks of life: students and professors, managers and trainees, government employees, freelancers, etc.
The aim of the network is to enable women with a background in natural sciences to exchange information and experiences in a pleasant and informal way. How this is done, is explained (in Dutch) under Algemeen. Most meetings and the newsletter are in Dutch, but the email lists can be used for posting English messages, and intervision or mentoring can also take place in English (the small groups decide on the language themselves).
